And glad to see it coming since that combo of projections is a pretty nasty mix. First time I've played against the Dreamer with 5 heroes in play. Only time with 4 heroes we got beat, and I'd rolled her out as a curveball to toss at some relatively new players after they'd trashed 3-4 other villains.
Well, this is going to hurt a lot. I guess I'll take the Oni damage. Wouldn't mind if we took that Oni out quick, though.

Leave the EPE alone this turn unless someone has a better option ready. I'll do Wrest the Mind on it and then have it nuke other targets. Only request is no one play any broad hero bonus damage cards since that increases the backlash. (Pity my Whipacorn effect wears off just a bit too soon.)
Current plan is redirect first EPE blast on Paradoja, second on Battle Forged, and third back on EPE itself. I think I end up taking six damage, but I take out 40+ points of bad guys.

I presume from the Villain turn that when Wrest the Mind's redirected EPE's blast back to EPE that the card did not destroy itself until after it causes Expat to inflict the 2nd set of 3 psychic damage to herself and the (already deceased) EPE?
Not the case. You process the card in order:
Since EPE is destroyed during step 1, WtM is destroyed as a result, before steps 2 and 3 can be processed.
Similarly, if the 3 damage in step 2 destroyed the WtM target, you wouldn't process step 3.
