Working on my own card game...

Does anyone want to help me playtest it? Send me a PM. It's a game about building a machine for the 1900's World Fair. It's slightly silly, and I've only actually /played/ it out a few times so I'm sure it has lots and lots of bad interactions and problems to find out. It's also a lot of printing/cutting, with about 35 pages worth of cards to print/cut.

It is for 2-6 players, and you'll need some kind of tokens to use that can be easily seen whose is whose (i use colored buttons - but i have a ton of those lying around for other reasons) - It should take probably about 15-30 minutes to play... i think. heh.

either PM me your email or email me at I can email the files to you (PDF) or i can link your gmail to them in my gdrive. If you aren't interested, no hard feelings :)

(edit: added information)

Oh, and I'd hope you'd give me feedback ;) No hard feelings if you think its stupid either, or if you find major game breaking problems. I'm not married to any of this thing (and its already gone through a few different design iterations) just hope for some constructive feedback!

Is it a head to head Magic type game with pre built decks or is it more liek a deck builder?

its 2-6 players, competitive, but with centralized decks.  Not a deck builder, but it borrows from some concepts that deckbuilders use (central row, resource management)

Players have pick resources off Location cards (in a center row), which are used to play Operations cards from their hands (Drawn from a single community deck) - these cards either are events or parts, and the goal is to get the most points out of your parts by the time someone completes a Machine. Machines are completed by having 1 of each of the 5 needed parts in play.

and Donner, this is in such very early phases of testing, that it's gonna be going on for a long while. You can always bug me at a later date when you have the resources to print it out :)

I currently have more playtesting than I can handle, but I might be interested in jumping in later. Is there any reason that you chose Exposition Universelle over the superior Columbian Exposition? Or even the 1904 fair in St. Louis, which we can thank for the advent of the waffle cone?

Nope. I just randomly attributed a year to it. Its ... somewhat pasted on theme right now, somewhat not. The theme is there, in the cards, but the 'reasoning' can adjusted as I do more research. I finally got it to a point today where I felt like I could put it out for some people to play around with (and expect LOTS of problems, as i've pretty much just played it schizo like by myself) so i threw on a quick blurb to explain the reasons why you are doing what your doing, and let it go at that.

It's more fantastical/steampunk than realistic fiction as well.
