What I wonder is how Handelabra will implement high fives and air guitar and Woo!s for Guise?
what do they have to do with the UI to make sure those things happen?!?!

I'm just picturing two people sat in the same room, playing the game on tablets. The Guise player is sweating.
"I have to", they say.
"Don't you da..." The other player doesn't get a chance to finish, as the first taps to play "I'm that guy". They lock eyes. There is anger there, perhaps. Resignation, certainly.
They stand, facing each other, each balancing their tablet on the palm of their right hand. No words are needed. They know what must happen. On a nod, they scream in unison, flinging their hands up and forwards, tablets first, to meet in mid-air in a shower of glass and electronics and rage.
In hindsight, they decide this was not the best play for turn 1.
I'm just hoping Guise will be the second voice-acted character in the game.
I'd rather not have him voice acted. Maybe chat having chat bubbles up instead.

I kinda hope he'll travel through the turn character's panels. Or chastise you for pressing the rewind button.

Honestly, i hope he doesn't mess with the GUI too much. Speech bubbles will be cool, and the occasion interface screw, but only on HIS area. If it happens when the menu button, rewind, or other not Guise buttons are hit then it can get a little tedious. Remember the "Arrow in the knee" skit? It was funny for a bit, and then lost its charm.
That's what I hope they don't do.
The second and very much more petty reason is that I don't want Guise to have the only fun animations or interactions.... what makes HIM so special? Huh?

Sky-Scraper already has "fun" interactions with her character cards, so Guise wouldn't be alone!

True! And it's tied to her screens. As long as it's not too much. Not syaing don't do it for Guise. it needs to be there, but not too much.

I think Guise's "encroachment" of character areas should only be for his cards that affect or copy other players. Like "Uh, Yeah, I'm that Guy" or "I can do that, too!" should have a Guise in the background of that character's play area, or maybe have Guise's portrait change to a facimile of that character. "Let me See That" should have an "IOU" sticky note over the card in the owner's play area.
And I want Guise to have his own sound effects when playing AA's instruments. If for nothing else than my own personal amusement.

It would also be kinda cool if The Naturalist had different portraits for his animal forms, including the Chimera Forms attainable via Fixed Point. That's more of a pipe dream, though.
