SS Tachyon Promo and Handelabra Games

Just wondering for anyone who bought the Steam version of the game and filled out the form received any updates yet. I have not heard from them in any ways and was wondering when I'll have this promo in hand.

Heh, yeah, I was wondering this today as well. I haven't heard anything about it being shipped out. I'm not overly concerned, but I am curious.

It said they will send an e-mail, not sure if GTG is sending them if so then it will be after all the preorders go out

When the app version of the game ran the same promotion deal the card came from GTG. I would expect dshields to be correct that they will ship those after all the preorders.

GTG will be sending them and things are pretty busy over there as you may have gathered. You'll get an email before they go out so you can confirm your address.

We also had a holiday break =)

Which holiday broke?

Hanukkah. Eight pieces and no one is quite sure how to spell it anymore.

I was going to post a snarky comment about how it's spelled "חנוכה", except then further research seemed to indicate that both "חנוכה" and "חנכה" are deemed acceptable spellings (the difference hinges on a letter which is sometimes a vowel, and whether it's pronounced 'Hanookah' or 'Hanekah'), so I guess there really is confusion about how to spell it.

Bleh, for some reason I can't get Hebrew to come up. However, the former version is wrong, and the latter is the correct version. The difference is whehther or not you write the vowels in. If you don't sometimes you use helper letters to make something clearer, but it is not the correct version.

It's spelled 'חֲנֻכָּה'.

How did you get the Hebrew. Tried to cut and paste, but it didn't work.

I copied and pasted from Wikipedia.  (specifically, ctrl+C ctrl+V)

It's probably not working because you're a Mod... wink

Good point. Do you know if things only don't work for Mods on the forum or in general?

In general - it's as though we've traded small pieces of life for the power we've obtained...

I really hope it's okay to talk publicly about this stuff. You know how sensitive those Admins can get.

I mean, remember...
