It looks like Hasty Augmentation can be used to get an extra Golem (or two) into play

Golems can't be played during Unity's Play Phase, but all the Powers I see on Unity's cards "Put a Golem into play", which as we know is not the same thing.

I agree, though obviously then you'll be giving up the damage boost.
