Incap side of character card = character card?

I was playing against Progeny for the first time, and trying out the new heroes. On his second side, Progeny deals the hero character card with the lowest hp H - 1 damage. Sky-Scraper was on her incap side of her "Huge" character card. I used the ability where her card becomes an indestructible 1 hp target. Would this still be considered a character card and therefore the target damaged by Progeny?
