We're running a survey to learn more about where people might be interested in playing SotM, or what they might be waiting for before picking it up. If you are on the fence, please take this short survey to let us know your thoughts! If you already have the game, we'd appreciate you sharing it around.

That survey is pretty brief and there's not a lot of room to explain why you haven't bought the app, if that's the case. I was surprised when the survey ended so quickly.

We wanted to keep it simple, and get people's biggest reason. Short surveys are good, especially when you're trying to hear from people who aren't your customers yet.

Sure, but I doubt you'll be able to get much useful information about why I haven't bought the app from that brief survey. :)

Why not? Do they not provide a free text field where you can write what you want? Does it take more than a sentence to write why you haven't bought the app?

If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If not now, when? If I am for myself alone, what am I? -- Hillel
The point isn't to get super detailed information from any one person. It's to get a small amount of information from a lot of people.

It's a single-line text field, not a text block. It's not a huge deal obviously, but you wouldn't expect people to write much of an explanation in a small field like that. I would imagine you'd get more "didn't get it because it's not fun" answers rather than "here's why I think it's not fun" explanations.
Sounds like they're getting what they wanted, so it's no big deal.

Thanks for the explanation. Just being curious.

I'd like to hear you out if you'd like to share, Spiff. :)
I suppose it wouldn't hurt. But this isn't the topic for it. I'll make another.
EDIT: changed my mind. Don't feel like saying anything negative about the game. Lots of people love it. That's good enough.

You could just PM it to Jeanofmarc if you don't want your view public.

I'm fine with that and can handle the criticism.
I don't like the fact that it hasn't been made into a board game yet.
I know I didn't buy it until recently, because I didn't feel like there was enough content. I got the digital version a couple of days before Rook City came out

my only complaint is the lavk of table. I know everyone wants multiplayer, but I will miss the table interaction when I play online. It is amazing for solo play.
My only complaint is lack of Setback.

Just assume I'm always doing that.
Damn it, Ronway!
The last two posts bring tears to my eyes.
