Hey Guys,
I am super excited to see what other people will do for the Metagame contest currently going on. I had a whole bunch of ideas, but I have been runing with one in particular.
Some questions:
1) Assuming we *don't* get picked, we still own our game, right? I may want to try other means to get it published.
2) Art: Do you expect us to provide the art? My game is a playable prototype and has all needed to play, but it has no art. Would someone from GTG be doing that if accepted? Or should I be contracting someone? (Like you said, the more done, the better). [How expensive are artists?]
3) Any thoughts on when the "winners" would be announced?
Thanks in advance!
Gooday,
Richie
pardon me, do you have any gray poupon?
I know your first question got answered on Twitter when another person asked. https://twitter.com/seesome/status/682571793631186944

Art is definitely not expected, and we don't yet have a timeline for announcing the winner; it'll depend on how many entries we get.
And yes, as PowerHound said, you definitely own the rights to your work.

It's a couple hours before the deadline and I just submitted my entry to the "[Game Mechanic}: the [Game Mechanic] Game" contest. I've done playtesting before and written LARPs before, but this is the first boardgame I've created. Pretty cool, even if my entry isn't selected.
Time for some scientific action!
