OBLIVAEON (all caps obligatory) also ties into the idea that they're something to do with the Oblivion Shards. And yeah, dude's rocking some major Thanos vibes.
Yeah, good job everyone! I don't think any one of us could have touched most of these puzzles alone. Good thing Nightmist pulled in all of those copies of us from alternate universes for mega-teamwork.
Magnanimous in victory, you are!
Seriously, pretty sure you're the puzzle hero. Two shout-outs from Tim himself!
Thank you, Christopher! You, Adam, and everyone else involved in the puzzle deserve tons of hugs for your dedication and creativity in giving us these mysteries to work out and creating a story-world so interesting that we'd want to figure the stuff out.
The first thing I thought when I saw Oblivaon was Voss. Anyone else get that vibe? I can't help but think this is what was implied when we were told that "we may not recognize him."
We'll probably find out more today!

Hate I couldn't help because of work. Great job guys. Also what if the news is that the final expansion is already complete and printed and they have been play testing it themselves since the beginning? That would be awesome.
Thanks to everyone for the compelling puzzle solving! It has been fun reading along while you mad geniuses figured all of this out.
Also thanks to >G for having forums that look like they could be work related so that I could spend work hours entertianed while I should have been working.
The square dots led to DDCLASSES. You take the last letter of the word after the dot. That led to dewy decimal classes, which led to 122114115. They were used. (And it's the one contribution I made to this thread!)
Thank you SO MUCH to GtG for putting this together! It was really fun to follow ^.^
That said, this forum would make a really fun Mystery Hunt 2017 team... (http://web.mit.edu/puzzle/www/) (but, I'd be surprised if some of you don't have teams already)
Hold on, is it just me or does he look a similar to the Manifestation on the flip of Tomented Ally Infinitor? Well, it was implied that he was driving Infinitor's actions.
You guys rock, but you already know that. You even beat the noon deadline. Wish I could have contributed more. I'm at work so I can't watch twitch, but looking forward to watching on replay. Looking forward to the announcement too!
KS launching on Feb 9 for final expansion (OblivAeon), with full set of alt-art hero promos, full set of foil hero promos, and hold-it-all carry case. OMG!
This thread and the whole thing has been a treat to watch, well done all involved!
I wonder if we'll ever know whose Tim Cosing? I'll admit I am privy to the fact that the intrepid, dashing and malevolent puzzle master is not a GTG or Handelabra employee.. perhaps there is a hint somewhere in all this as to their true identity!
Can somebody in the stream talking to Christopher ask him how much it'll cost in the Kickstarter for all of the foil promos and the collector case and everything?
I am back! Until my flight! No capes involved, sadly.
Also, I am happily available to represent the Prime Wardens. Or the Prime Wardens. Uh oh, this may get confusing. (The idea of trademark dispute between reality dopplegangers actually now really appeals to me, I am probably gonna keep thinking about this.)
EDIT: doh, my phone went to the wrong page so it looked like we were still going. Looks like I have a lot to catch up on! But a preemptive congrats and awesome job to everyone!
EDIT 2: Fantastic finish to GrySqrl---which I have been reading as Gary rather than gray this whole time for some reason. I remember looking at the letters 4/4/4/4/5/5/5/5/5 and seeing gibberish---but with OB and V in there taunting me. Stop it brain, Oblivion is only 8 letters! Clever and elegant solution, bravo/a. Was really great working with you guys for the little bit I was around for---I'm glad I was able to actually contribute an answer and help, but you all who made so much progress the first couple days did some great sleuthing. And to the GtG folks, this was impressive all-around, thank you so much for putting this together---I know it can't be easy to make everything fit so elegantly, so doing this all for a release announcement really says a lot about you all and your enthusiasm for the game.
Huge thanks, congratulations, and "let's do this again!" to everyone involved on both sides of the whole affair. (Seriously, I would happily team up with you folks for another puzzle hunt sometime!)
It looks like Darkseid and Galactus had a baby...
(edit: https://greaterthangames.com/oblivaeon )
Sadly, some of us have noon meetings and so can't watch the stream. Oh well.
Damn, Team Leader Grysqrl leading the charge. Epic!
OBLIVAEON (all caps obligatory) also ties into the idea that they're something to do with the Oblivion Shards. And yeah, dude's rocking some major Thanos vibes.

And now I can't look at or do anything without seeing clues everywhere.
Amazing job all! Great to know if I am ever in a complex puzzle for my survival, I have an extremely talented group to go to!

Great Job everyone! I'll remember this amazing event for a long time (even though I haven't found anything...!)! So much lore stuff in these covers!!

I just want to say, I am SO PROUD of all of you.
It's been a rollercoaster watching you go through everything.
There will be a news post today that you will probably be interested in.
Thank you all for being the best community ever.

Thanks to you guys for putting all of this together. This was amazing!
New priority: Get all this recorded in the ARG wiki entry, so that posterity can relive it all in fast-forward.
Solid work everyone. Glad I could witness it.

...why is OBLIVAEN making sign language?
Pre-order time??
Thank you, Christopher! You, Adam, and everyone else involved in the puzzle deserve tons of hugs for your dedication and creativity in giving us these mysteries to work out and creating a story-world so interesting that we'd want to figure the stuff out.
I will say I'm saddened by no direct mentions or artwork showing Guise, Mr Fixer, or The Naturalist.

(need to get home and check all other box covers)
Fantastic work, everyone!

I'm seriously amazed.
I mean, yeah, that cover. That name. That everything.
But also the huge effort that must have gone into organising this reveal event for us, and how damn perfect and fitting it has been.
And the undeinably insane effort that the forumites made to work it all out.
That's just so much epicness at once. This whole thread is a monument to epicness.
Yeah...
Anybody else wonder how long they thought we'd take for this?
Semper ludens.
We still have to defeat him, right? It's a clue! It's a clue!
Is there a significance to the solar eclipse happening?
Fantastic job everyone. I had a grand time watching this unfold.
5 days and nearly 2,000 posts later, we did it.
We found the answer to "Whose Tim Cosing?"
It's OBLIVAEON's Tim Cosing... Whatever a Tim Cosing is, OBLIVAEON is it's owner.
NOW we need to solve the next stage of the puzzle!
"WHAT'S Tim Cosing?"
Right?

Thanks for the awesome puzzles, covers, and comics, GtG!
I thought it was supposed to be at noon, but I don't see anything happening at http://www.twitch.tv/greaterthangames -- am I in the wrong timezone?
Central time. >G is based out of St. Louis.

Considering all the clues we got, I'm not sure how long it would have taken us without them.
It was an awesome journey to follow along and see the puzzle-solving skills of others.
Did you guys see the announcement yet?
