A sometime acquaintance but always hero of mine died yesterday. His name was Erik Petersen, and if you are not familiar with the name, maybe you would be more familiar with his bands Orphans or Mischief Brew. A local legend around Philadelphia and the surrounding area, Erik was sometimes labled an anarchist, a punk, a folk minstrel, but always as a great person and musician. His wife has asked that we share his music and sing it wherever we go tonight, so I felt that I will share some of his gift with my >G family.

Look, we don't know exactly how he died yet, but a lot of us have a guess. If any of you are having a tough go of it in life, find yourself more down than usual, or anything like that, just know that you can reach out and there will be folks who care about you and will listen if you need an ear. Please try to not feel like you need to carry too big of a burden yourself, let others help you.
Thanks.
