Three powers for Mr. Fixer

Rod of Anubis and Overdrive!

Did you know it works this way?

With Rod of Anubis in Mr. Fixer's play area, Mr. Fixer plays Overdrive, which allows Mr. Fixer to use his 'Strike' power twice this turn. Then, in the power phase, Mr. Fixer used the Rod of Anubis. Afterwards, he can still use 'Strike' twice!

Combined with Dual Crowbars and Grease Monkey Fist, Mr. Fixer wiped out the remaining members of the Ennead, doing six shots of damage for a total of 29 HP.

Yup! I remember this being mentioned at some point a while ago, before the video game came out. He rocks with Captain Cosmic, too.

Yep.   Mr Fixer also enjoys Captain Cosmic on his team who can give him a Cosmic Weapon.

Yep. Pretty sure you knew this too Andy (as you commented on flamethrowers guide containing this trick!).

Maybe _that's_ why SotM never gets old for me.

Hey, I'm all for constant surprise and excitement over "new" discoveries , I make enough of my own!

It seems as if Mr. Fixer is the character with the most surprises in him. I still remember laughing myself sick at the Plague Rat's "Infection" + "Jack Handle" combo.

And vs. Plague Rat, Driving Mantis is the poor man's Jack Handle.

And there's no reason you can't use both.
