Sleeving the collector's case

Y'all remember those jokes about sleeving the collector's case? Back when the question of whether or not sleeved cards would fit in the collector's case kept being asked over and over again in different ways?

Well, this is a touch embarassing, but I actually want to do that. I've got the collector's case set up so I can use it without having to move it, but I want to protect it from our cats, but that means I've got a sheet over it and can no longer see it's pretty, pretty logo.

If you recall from GenCon Live the Collector’s case is meant to be housing for animals.

You need some transparent aluminum.

What level of protection are you looking for?

I'm assuming plastic wrap isn't sufficient?

Contact Scotty!  He may be able to give us the formula for it as well as the thickness necessary.

A cat's claw would go right through plastic wrap.

Plastic wrap scented with citrus, which cats apparently hate? :D

A dab of tea tree oil on the inside flap of the case would do it, and likely wouldn't stain.

Ok I'm curious now. Why would this work? Do cats avoid getting within x feet of the very scent of tea tree oil?

For whatever reason, cats *hate* tea tree oil.  We use it as a repellent for our cats to keep them away from certain areas of our house.

Too small. The box wouldn’t fit in my 36 gallon aquarium.

Just put a cucumber on top of it!
