Huh.

That Red Band trailer was worse that the Green Band(?) trailer, it's like they went "Let's add in swears because we can" (and they still censored the song despite having Deadpool utter the exact same words 10 seconds later!).

Overall I'm still looking forward to the film, but that trailer did not make me more (or less) excited to see it.

And I had no idea Blind Al and Weasel were in the film, so huzzah for that.

That looks like about as standard a superhero movie as you can get (a normal guy has something extraordinary happen to him and now he uses his enhanced powers to fight evil) plus some swearing.  Does anyone really care if Deadpool is trying to do right by his girlfriend?  I'm surprised they didn't go more meta, going lighter on the origin story and heavier on the fourth wall breaking.  Seems to me like it's more evidence that Fox doesn't really know how to make good superhero movies and they just keep getting lucky with X-Men.

I'd like to see some more fourth wall breaking outside of the Green Lantern reference.  The humor side they seem to have spot on from what the trailer shows.
