A brief skim through 2 other forum topics about "Wrong Time and Place" didn't turn up an answer to my question below.
Maybe no one's asked about this part of it before?
I recently played a game against the Dreamer and had Wrong Time and Place out.
Setback had ~8 tokens.
The Dreamer was the only non-hero target.
The Dreamer was about to hit every hero for 1 damange each.
I directed the first hit to Setback.
I was forced to redirect (token automatically removed).
I understand this. there's no "may" on the card, and you can't redirect from Setback to Setback.
However, I didn't want to hit the Dreamer, so I selected Legacy.
I rather expected this to triger WTaP again and direct it back to Setback, but it didn't.
OK, I guess the card only triggers 1 time for each instance of damange.
Then I directed the next instance of damage to Legacy, and WTaP forced me to redirect it to Setback or use a token.
WTF? Legacy's already been dealt damage this turn. Why was WTaP triggered?
Is this a bug?
This does seem like it's not tracking first damage correctly in this case. It should count that damage redirected from Setback to Legacy as the first damage on Legacy that turn so any further damage to Legacy shouldn't prompt Wrong Place and Time. I've sent feedback to Handelabra.
