Hey McBehrer, I also ditched my hand on the Hedgehog card so I think that Silverleaf picked up my cards. If you want to pick your cards up again that's cool with me as I lost the plot about two seconds after this game got started! I'll have to wait and see what I get dealt then play it straight out - or just hide in friend tree Steve for a round I guess!
Hey McBehrer, I also ditched my hand on the Hedgehog card so I think that Silverleaf picked up my cards.
Yep, that's what happened. I guess I ought to add that to the recap...
ALSO.
You'll notice that in the corner of Magical Girl, there is a number for HP. Quick thing about that number:
New Rule- Cards with HP
Some ongoing cards that represent characters or other living things may have HP. HP will typically be in multiples of 100, like point cards, and can be changed like another player's score can. A player may "attack" a card with HP by playing any score-reducing card on it rather than a player. Its HP is lowered by the amount of points that card would remove, but any other effects are ignored if there's no obvious way to apply them to it. You can likewise "heal" an HP card using a positive-point card( can't go beyond starting HP). If a card's HP is 0 or lower, destroy it.
Well, I have little option but to play the only card I have - no hit points on this one unfortunately (this particular pun is getting old!)
I think that I am going to stick this card in front of Silverleaf. I gather that the points won't score immediately because of her current state of general shite-ness, however it could then score were the curse to go away... or maybe end up being a negative score... ohhh, I love a bit of slow burning tension in a game! I'm either being a gentleman or a cad, only time will tell
Oh yeah. BlueHairedMeerkat, how does this card combo with that other one? I know in some versions of 1KBWC the point cards stay in front of you and you just add them all up at the end, but I was going with the version where scores are kept independently of what happens to the cards, and score-changing cards just get discarded after applying the effect. Carbon Dating seems to be designed for the other version. How should I handle this?
Hmm... a bunch of blank cards ended up in the discards... I wonder if I can just sort of... reach over and take them for my own uses? No sense letting them go to waste! The deck might be getting a few more cards added next round, if the other players don't mind? I think the game could use some fresh material; I haven't recieved any new cards in a while. Is that alright with everyone?
We're getting back on track here, with a smashing display of showmanship by yours truly! Everyone gets 1000 points, but -- true to Whose Line tradition, they serve no purpose WHAT SO EVER! HUZZAH!
McBehrer is the sole winner of this game... And McBehrer, I would step carefully should you find your way down dark alleys. More than one vote said simply, "McBehrer must die."
Hmm, yeah, that is a problem... I suppose the easiest fix is to just change it to 'if Molecular Bondage has been played', though that may make Mezike rethink playing it...
BlueHairedMeerkat's keboard had burst into flames, a victim of his own magic spell! He didn't panic, however, because any magician worth his pointy hat knows to take precautions against this sort of thing. A wave of the paw, and the enchantment was dismissed. Then he called forth a cute and spunky sidekick to assist him in his wizardry.
Mezike put two atoms out on a date, and made Silverleaf in charge. Let's hope nothing weird(er) happens, or she's gonna get the blame!
McBehrer, still sitting at a meager one-card hand, was forced to improvise. This benefitted everybody's score in no way whatsoever.
Silverleaf saw but one way to handle this: Ronway. He also did nothing helpful, but he's a pretty cool guy so who cares.

My little Cyaneous maned Prarie Dog, it is time for you to brush off your best impression of The Bard:
I have no idea what the heck that Hubba Bubba card is supposed to mean, so it looks like a 60 point penalty for me!
A quick Google search reveals that Ubbi Dubbi is a pseudo-language similar to Pig Latin popularized by the TV Show Zoom. To speak it, put "ub" before each vowel sound, lubike thubis. Fubor ubexubampuble, "Hubbub" wubould bube "hububbubub"!

McBehrer is the sole winner of this game... And McBehrer, I would step carefully should you find your way down dark alleys. More than one vote said simply, "McBehrer must die."
I do not count as a player unless a card is played saying otherwise.
Also:
60-point penalty: Failure to post in Ubbi-Dubbi
vvvAnd another -60pts for that one! (I obviously won't be counting any posts you make outside this thread, but all the ones you make here are under the Curse's influence)
The father's sperm and the mother's egg combine into a single cell, which slowly developes into a fetus over a course of 11 months. When the fetus is ready to be born, the mother unhinges her jaw and the infant is forced out of her gaping mouth. A special set of muscles located just behind her toungue help with the delivery. Mothers are known to get odd cravings during the pregnancy, and may find themselves eating items such as baby clothes and blankets to improve the comfort of the child. These items are stored in the placenta organ so the baby may take its beloved luggage with it during birth.
BlueHairedMeerkat, now free of the hex Mezike had bounced back at him, seized revenge by cursing him to speak only in Ubbi Dubbi or subuffuber thube cubonsubequubencubes. Mezike, unsure how to speak it, has so far lost 180 points in all. But, he escalated the fight by challenging his attacker to speak like a certain bard. Not Elan( who is still just cheerfully playing songs in Mezike's tree, Steve), but the Bard, the one famous for his rhythmically flowing prose:
Whate'er the Meer-kat types in here must be
Five pairs of syl-lables with ac-cent on

McBehrer decided to skip his turn to build up a hand again, while Silverleaf called forth an ally of her own: Some sort of feline creature that can almost get anything right. It explained to her the intricacies of childbirth.

In the meantime, BlueHairedMeerkat, take your turn!
EDIT: Just thought I'd point out that this thread now has OVER 9000 views, making it the most-viewed thread in the Off-Topic section of ALL TIME. We even beat Ask Another Forumite by, at the time of this writing, over 1000 views! That's pretty neat. I guess there are quite a few spectators watching this game?

I'll discard Impromptu Homestuck Roleplay,
To set McBehrer's keyboard all ablaze!
(Oh, right - I have to pun iambically,
It's hard to track the things I have to do,
I envy Mubezubike and his tree,
Ubbi-punning's an easier thing to do...)

Perhaps? I here for the Ronway cards! It's almost as if I made cards for this game...
Near an order of magnitude? My word!
“You gotta have blue hair."

No, the Homestuch Rorepuray was my fave card that was made by me! Werr, one of them, anyway.
Arso, you seem to have come up short by one syrrabre N your second ryne there, meercat. My name onry has 2 syrrabres. Mc-Behrer. Pronounced the same as the anymar, such as Gryzzry or Porar. But w/ a Mc on the front.
Typng ths way has become exceedngry annoyng. When does ths wear off?
McBehrer is the sole winner of this game... And McBehrer, I would step carefully should you find your way down dark alleys. More than one vote said simply, "McBehrer must die."
McBehrer confirmed to be Biomancer!

Huba! ubit's ubevuben wubeirduber whuben ubi quubotube mubysubelf!
McBehrer, I was pronouncing your name wrong,
I shall try in future to not do that.
(And all these things wear off at end of game,
Or when somebody makes a counter card.)
“You gotta have blue hair."

Don't worry, I've been taking blanks from the discards and turning them into whatever sorts of cards the game seems to need right now. So there're a couple "destroy a card" cards in the deck for you to find.
