Call for Artists

https://greaterthangames.com/content/a-call-for-artists

This was just posted on the main page today. I saw important words like "tabletop", "watercolor", and "the".

Thoughts, speculations, or general interest?

Clearly it's a tabletop version of Okami, set in New Zealand. I believe it will be called "Wuhuri."

I have thoughts! And speculations!

And I'm also generally interested!

My thoughts:

1.  Polynesian setting, spirits and watercolor style. . .  It's a sim game of Haka's Kindergarten Class.

2.  I wish my artistic talents went beyond stick figures.

3.  Is it OK to repost that on Facebook and such, I know people that can do artistic things who may or may not be interested.

Extremely interested to see what kinds of things could be done with a watercolor look, but that may simply be utilizing other mediums in creative ways. Could be for many things, including an expansion (SotM, Tactics, GSF), new game (Wuhuri), or a plot to take over the world...

I wish I could do the painting thing. Seriously.

Just assume I'm always doing that.

Damn it, Ronway!

Time to whip something out and then lament the fact that I went to school for pottery and sculpture instead of painting drawing or illustration.

Christopher, I know you guys are looking for watercolor, but I have some mean finger painting skills that are going to waste over here. I have an extensive portfolio ranging from my pre-school Elmers period to my more recent experimental and abstract work using toes and various other appendages. Will work for Redeemer Fanatics instead of more conventional forms of compensation. We'll talk.

Yeah. I'm a mixed-media artist and work primarily in polymer clay, resin, and yarn. My watercolour skills are rudimentary at best - I have the physical skill for it but I don't have a natural watercolour "eye".

Just assume I'm always doing that.

Damn it, Ronway!

Hey, my uncle's a pretty good artist, and he's been looking for a jorb. I'll point him in your direction.

McBehrer is the sole winner of this game... And McBehrer, I would step carefully should you find your way down dark alleys. More than one vote said simply, "McBehrer must die."

McBehrer confirmed to be Biomancer!

Got me beat, maybe I can get some lessons...

In all seriousness though, it is definitely cool that GTG is reaching out to their community first and foremost.  If I had artistic talent, it would be an awesome opportunity.

I mentioned to Christopher on Facebook that I'd passed the link on to people I'd thought might be interested, and he was happy about this.
