Round 44: Challenge La Capitan at Champion Studios.

That must’ve been from some bad luck at Rook City for the nature team.

Turn 1 Strength of the Grave didn't help either with 5 instances of 8 damage. What probably did the heroes in were 2 really unlucky Vast Followings which brought out Gloomy's most dangerous Cultists. Interestingly, Ra played imbued Fire round 1 and relics didn't enter play until fairly late; which makes me think that had the game been standard difficulty instead of Ultimate Nature would likely still have lost.

Those opening Strength of the Grave turns are certainly the more punishing ones.

Round 47 Results: All teams win. Prime Wardens had the easiest time of it thanks to End of Days; on the other end of the spectrum, Alt. Reality had a brutal fight that ended with all heroes still active at 1 HP each.

Round 48: Challenge Kaagra Warfang at Fort Adamant.

Went about as well as I thought it would, surprised Dark Watch won though, I suspect Expat started with the assualt rifle/shotgun and Setback started with Looking Up.

Actually no, Setback eventually got looking up but it was fairly late in the game. Expat didn't get a gun out until round 3. NightMist and Harpy picked up the slack though thanks to multiple copies of Oblivion and a high Avian strategy with Huginn and Muninn in play.

It did come out but fairly late... it kind of served as the last nail in the coffin for Haka who was trying to take on Voss Solo. The thing that did the Wardens in was a bunch of Psy-weavers and Frost Hounds out the gate. Fanatic cleared the board with a round 1 End of Days only for Voss to flip and play a start of turn Forced Deployment which immediately brought everything back. He followed up with a Spaceship for good measure during his play phase.

Just out of curiosity as I don’t see it mentioned what order are you using the heroes in for each of these teams?  While in some cases it might not make much difference there are certainly some I could it having a bigger impact.

The order is:

Freedom 5: Legacy, Bunker, Wraith, Tachyon, Absolute Zero
Prime Wardens: Argent Adept, Captain Cosmic, Fanatic, Haka, Tempest
Dark Watch: Expatriate, Nightmist, Setback, Mr. Fixer, Harpy
Void Guard: Dr. Medico, Mainstay, Idealist, Writhe
Alternate Reality: La Comodora, Visionary, Omnitron-X, Chrono-Ranger
Revo-corp: Luminary, Stuntman, Parse, Unity, Benchmark
Space: Lifeline, The Sentinels, Sky-scraper, KNYFE
Nature: Akash'thriya, Naturalist, Ra, Scholar, Guise.

I'm gonna guess that Void Gaurd had some combination of "consider the price of victory" or "Leaking Room" or "Pillars of Hurcules" from the start.

Yeah you nailed it. Round 1 they took out the MDP, environment played Leaking room.
Round 2 villain played Consider the Price of Victory, Environment played Leaking Room. Round 3, Blade played a one-shot getting 15 cards into the trash.... heroes would have lost no matter what at that point but the environment played Pillars of Hercules just to rub salt on the wound.

Dark Watch game wasn't much better. There was only 1 Leaking Room, but the heroes ultimately lost on an out of turn Consider the price of victory played via Atlantian Font of Power the round before they would have flipped Blade.

Round 52 Results: Most games were tough due to Pike's tenancy to take out the citizens you are trying to keep in play; but in the end all teams pull out wins.

Round 53: Challenge Iron Legacy at Time Cataclysm.

I can't recall exactly what happened in the space game. I think the heroes failed to draw their ongoing destruction cards early and Iron Legacy had Vigilance in his starting loadout.

Nature and F5 teams hit the 50 win mark together.  Would not have expected that offhand when this started.   Void Guard just one game behind.
