It was awesome, those Elephants were cool.  Although the one with the bow owes me 20 bucks.  Swore he'd never forget, the jerk.

Good luck extorting the money out of him. He has a bow, and I heard elephants are really good at archery

I got the impression that it was an elephake, I could have sworn it was The Naturalist trying out his halloween costume, William Tell-ephant.

I will keep editing this post until I get the joke just right!

The letters are closer together.

That's more efficient, right?

Efficiency would be waiting around to see how well it goes for other people then jumping on board at the last second.

Although according to my crazy neighbor Daylight Savings Time is the Anti-Christ, and once again the end-times are upon us.  It's like every year we narrowly escape the apocalypse.

Power failures may also be the Anti-Christ, but only if you don't have battery operated clocks.

You would need someone with a device that can travel through time, could be a car, a ship, whatever. Not sure where you can find a person like that.

If at the start of the Silverleaf's turn, Silverleaf is wearing a hat, she flips to her "Begrudging Hat Wearer" side.

So what new end of the villain turn abilities do you now have?

I remember those days, they were one of the driving forces behind me becoming a playtester.

Well, the main reason was Tactics, I was begging and writing letters to Christopher, anything to get in on playtesting Tactics.

So I was searching through all my Sentinels stuff yesterday (for some reason), and I came across this in the box.

While I had played it before this was my first physical copy of the game. You can see I liked it so much I picked up the expansion at the same time!

I... I actually have an unopened original SotM.

I'm thinking of it as wine. Either it's going to be entertainingly nostalgic to open it up in a couple decades or it's going to be a couple of bricks...

In the summer of 2011, before SotM was launched at GenCon, GtG has an online ... event? ... where they revelaled each hero in turn. I remember thinking that it was sort of ridiculous. Nobody knew anything about this game, why would we care what was being revealed? Imagine it, though, the original reveal of Wraith, Fanatic, Tempest, etc:

I saw the post on the reciept for sentinels, and that made me kind of curious. What was everybody here's first hero? Mine was Mr. Fixer

I think mine was Mr. Fixer as well! Andy taught me at the first PAX Australia. He told me that I should target one of the T. Rex's over another (because then the target with the second-highest health would be the other T-Rex) and I politely refused, explaining that I'd rather get it wrong and learn from my mistake.

Then a T. Rex hit me for a bunch of damage and I was like "Okay. Lesson learned!"

Heh, awesome!

I always struggle with how much strategic advice to give new players. I try to stay back, but it's hard sometimes! I do tell players that pick up Wraith that Impromptu Invention is an awesome card.

Mine was Ardent Adept.  We were playing against Miss Information.  In hindsight, I'm amazed I kept playing after that.

In other news my computer at home no longer works and I can't play with you. (Especially not on Monday nights (or indeed play Sentinels Digital at all))
