I still haven't heard anything about my Villains preorder, and my order status hasn't changed from 'Pre-ordered'.
Should I be worried at this point? I did pay for separate shipping for the Villains and Sentinel Tactics preorders.

The issue might be with FedEx. I got my delivery yesterday but didn't get any updates before that.

I sent an email to you today but I figured I will place a comment here.

I received the delivery on Wednesday (in NY).  I picked it up today and all I got was the game and the 7 promo cards.  I'm missing the art prints and mini-expansions and the oversize villains cards.  Are they supposed to be in a separate package?

@saucau22

Did you preorder during the Jan-Feb 2015 pre-order window, or did you preorder at Gen Con (or later on the website)? Only the early pre-order people got art prints and free mini-expansions. Later preorders only got promo cards (and, of course, shipping before games went to distributors).

I just received my copy of Villains of the Multiverse, Chokepoint and The Celestial Tribunal, and the Tactics maps and minion minis. Here is my issue:

I had 4 separate orders.

Order 1. Broken City, Expansion, Broken City Minis, Expansion Minis, All maps, Minion Minis

Delivery - Smart Post

Order 2. Villains of the Multiverse

Delivery - Home

Order 3.Chokepoint and The Celestial Tribunal

Delivery - Smart Post

Order 4. Oversized Villains

Delivery - Smart Post

As you can see I paid for delivery 4 times. 3 Smart Post, 1 Home.

I received a single package with part of Order 1, and all of orders 2&3. Order 2 was supposed to be Home Delivery but instead was packaged with Part of Order 1 and Order 3 and sent Smart Post. So in all so far we're looking at paying 2 times to have the same package delivered slowly.

Order 4 I've had no word on at all and am beginning to worry at this point it has fallen through the cracks. If it hasn't been fulfilled, then I'm really hoping they send it Home Delivery since I paid for 1 of my orders to be sent that way and it wasn't.

Hope all that made sense and that someone from GtG can clear this up.

Checking my shipment today, it seems I have a similar issue. My shipment appears to have included Villians of the Multiverse, the various promo cards, and the Chokepoint and Tribunal Mini-Expansions, but not the art prints. I preordered in January of 2015.

So, it's been over a week since us Europeans were hit by the Commercial Invoice delay and still no update from Fedex. Has there been any news on this?

I was wondering this also. I appreciate the speeds at which bureaucracies work, I'm more curious about the process.

I'd like some news, too, even if it's just a "nothing new".

The fact that my order has not moved from "confirmed" in a whole year doesn't help me feel confident.

@EU Residents

FedEx claims that they have mostly cleared things up and that things should start arriving soon. At this point I don't have a good way to get feedback other than talking to our US FedEx rep, who talks to a FedEx employee in France, who speaks with the French government, which is not super reliable. If any of you actually succeed in getting your delivery this week, or can confirm that FedEx in France reaches out to you, I would definitely appreciate it if you'd let me know!

Not to gainsay what Paul says, the FedEx tracking for our/my package still says "Shipment requires a Commercial Invoice.", that could just be FedEx not updating their system.

On the positive side I got to use gainsay correctly in a sentence, yay!

Mine says the same, but I'm hopeful it'll change soon.

Also, I'm jealous you got to use 'gainsay' correctly in a sentence.

Unfortunately it's current status is 'clearance delay' and if you look further down the page it still requires a commercial invoice sad sorry for the downer.

The way I was reading it, is that that box is a timeline of events during the clearance delay. So it's still in the clearance delay but it's being processed. Could just be wishful thinking though.

Just had a chat with FedEx. The shipment is still awaiting customs clearance. I believe the issue with the forms is resolved. But has not yet been released.

Hello,

Just to be sure I understand correctly: The packages to Germany also come from the fulfillment center in France? And we will get a mail when the games are one the way from France to Germany?

Thanks for the help

Yes and no.

All the Europe (and possibly more remote locations) orders were shipped to France to be sent on.

There will be no mail to you telling you it is coming.

Still no Villains in sight. With the new preorder campaign about to begin, I feel like last year crying

I am so incredibly angry and frustrated with FedEx now. Basically every time we ship to the EU we have some terrible disaster or another happen on their end, and as justifiably frustrated as you all are, I am that frustrated times the number of EU backers that there are.

The shipment is currently in France, and delivery times from there are super quick if they get their act together, so I am really hoping that you all have it before the KS goes live. I have had strongly worded conversations with FedEx twice more today already about the issue.

Don't worry, Paul, my own anger is not directed at GtG, but at the Multiverse and how it never works the way I want. There are times where I understand OblivAeon wink

Small question : my order has not moved from "order created" in a year - should I worry, or is it the problem with the site mentioned by Christopher ?

Just an update: the FedEx report for my UK order of Villains is no longer showing the warning message about needing a commercial invoice, as it has for the past two weeks. It's status is still saying it's in a "clearance delay" however, and the estimated delivery date has been altered to "No scheduled delivery date available at this time." I'm not sure whether that's a good thing or not, but at least there's some sort of progress going on.

I'm beginning to think that FedEx updated the order tracking page for the EU orders to be able to say that they had made progress. Maybe that's just me being cynical though.

In a more dispassionate update, the big red 'Clearance Delay' box returned a few days ago and remains.

Likewise. I am moving towards being annoyed by this. If it doesn't arrive by the time the Kickstarter begins, I'll definitely be not very happy with Fed Ex.

For myself, whilst habitually cynical about situations such as this, I am moving slowly towards being irked. After that is 'ticked off' and then 'annoyed'.

Those levels of British Ire in full:

Patient understanding

Possibly concerned

Mildly disappointed

Slightly aggrieved

A bit annoyed

Somewhat irked

Considering mentioning something

Composing a strongly worded missive (that will never be sent)

Full scale land invasion

So I pre-ordered Villans from GTG in November.  Since I wasn't sure about when things would ship and the pre-order said they'd be held until the last item was ready to ship, I didn't pre-order the mini expansions and oversized villian cards at the time.  I wanted to do it during the winter sale, but they were out of stock the whole time, so I ended up pre-ordering through an online retailer I bought most of my SOTM games from.  That order was placed on January 6th, and I just got my package from them, while I'm still seeing no update from the GTG store on having shipped my Villians box.

This seems really messed up to me, that your direct customers are getting their packages shipped after distributors have both received their orders and managed to get them to their customers.  Is there any way to either check on my pre-order or cancel it if it hasn't shipped yet?
